Sidesteps (2022)

Failure of infrastructures, un/helpful passing tides and entitlements to space and time both surround and build this story. Modulation is used as a visual tool; captured bodies of flowing, stale and still water are fed through a rendering machine, spitting out waves of sensitive reactions. Flowing through the current with whispers of ancient - and recent past -unseen forces pull, hinder, stun and refract. A charged setting on a bright day. Dodging, weaving — sidestepping whilst wondering, is this is real? Is this a joke?
